The 320-Watt Charger: How Useful Is This Really?
As per Realme new charger claims, a smartphone can be charged from 0% to 100% in less than four and a half minutes. Surely that sounds impressive when it comes to such rapid charging of devices, but it is an accomplishment not yet largely practiced in the smartphone industry. The 240-watt charger has been launched previously. This jump to 320 watts however is spectacular. It raises questions about efficiency, heat generation, and overall battery health.
At the Realme Experience Center, I had the opportunity to see various Realme smartphones and gadgets that aren’t available in Bangladesh, including advanced earphones and other tech accessories. The Cool Tech Tour is a special program connecting fans and media from over 20 countries, showcasing Realme's commitment to innovation.
Innovative Battery Technology
One fascinating aspect of their presentation was the new battery technology. Realme has developed a foldable battery that divides a 5000mAh battery into four smaller parts. This division allows for faster charging without overheating, utilizing the new high-watt charger efficiently.
While giving a live demonstration, they were able to charge a smartphone from 0 to a full battery in four minutes and twenty-two seconds, which they had never done before in front of people. This raised excitement and anticipation for how this technology will roll out in future devices.
Realme 13 Pro and Pro+: Unique Features
While exploring the Realme 13 Pro and Pro+, I noticed that both models have a similar design. However, the standout feature is the solid-state button that functions in two ways: pressure-sensitive and touch-sensitive. This innovation allows users to capture photos by simply touching the button or applying pressure, enhancing the photography experience.
Interestingly, this feature, which some thought would debut with the iPhone 16 series, is being introduced by Realme first. In addition to taking photos, this button can also be used to zoom in and out, providing a smoother experience for video shooting and photography.
Looking Ahead
As we prepare for the formal release of the Realme 13 Pro and Pro+, it is evident that the company continues to stretch the limits on the smartphone. The presence of a 320-watt charger and new battery technologies also proofs how much Realme wants to improve the experience and the usability.
